The glassworks in Tarnowiec operated from 1975 to 2012 and produced coloured technical and art glass. Its first director was Tadeusz Żak.

From 1982, the glassworks' chief designer was Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz, who held this position until retiring in 1992; he was succeeded by Jerzy Maraj, who remained in the role until 2007. Its range comprised around 200 models. The glassworks is characterised by malachite greens, powder pinks, burgundy and layered glass.

In 1985, the glassworks operated company shops in Wrocław, Gdynia and Kraków. Its products were also shown at an exhibition in Karlovy Vary.
