Vintage secretary desk / writing desk, Denmark, 1960s/70s
Danish teak secretary desk manufactured in the 1960s/70s. Finished in teak veneer with beautiful grain.
It features a writing surface that locks with a key, allowing it to also serve as a small desk.
The piece has undergone restoration: it was stripped of its old finishes, losses were filled, and the entire surface was lightly stained to even out the colour. Finally, it was protected with several coats of hard-wearing oil wax resistant to dirt and water.
