Vintage swivel lounge chair, Germany, 1970s

A lounge chair characterised by its streamlined, substantial and comfortable form.
The chair has undergone a comprehensive restoration; the seat has been given new upholstery and filling in white / beige.
The chair rests on a slender, four-pronged metal “star” base, which allows it to swivel.
The design combines echoes of modernism (Mid-Century) with the comfortable, sturdy style typical of the early 1970s.
