She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 1956, she began working at the Institute of Industrial Design (IWP) in Warsaw, as part of the team designing porcelain figurines led by Henryk Jędrasiak. She designed 33 models, mainly animals.
Her figurines include Wyżeł z łapką (1957), Ryś (1957), Jeż (1958) and Miś (1958), as well as Gibon, Sowa, Suseł and Pingwin, produced in three sizes. Gibon was presented in 1960 in the British magazine “The Studio”. Sowa exists in versions from Ćmielów and Karolina, differing in the shape of their claws. According to her statement, each design was intended to examine a problem of construction or composition and refer to contemporary art. Production of the Institute’s designs was transferred in 1964 to Zakłady Porcelany in Ćmielów.
