Saul Mamakeesick was born in 1957 on the Sandy Lake Indian Reserve in northern Ontario. Mamakeesick’s art reflects the influence of the Woodland School of Native Art. He describes nature in poems and paints it, believing that it provides him with the strength to create and fills the human soul with joy.
The work is in original vintage condition. The frame shows minor signs of use. Limited edition.
