Adjustable Dulux Junior desk lamp, Lival, Finland, 1980s
The Dulux Junior desk lamp was manufactured by the Finnish company Lival in the 1980s. The base and shade are made of plastic, while the frame is aluminium. The entire lamp is finished in ecru. The adjustable shade allows the light source to be directed wherever needed. The lamp arm can also be adjusted. A red switch is located on the shade. The lamp is fitted with a fluorescent bulb. Its functionality and Nordic minimalist design make it a perfect fit for any office space.
Lival is a Finnish pioneer in lighting solutions. Since 1962, it has worked with Nordic Aluminium to produce lighting tracks. Today, Lival is one of the world’s leading manufacturers in the lighting industry.
The lamp is preserved in its original vintage condition. It has a small crack at the top of the arm. The base is 10 cm wide and 16 cm deep. The bulb may have a maximum rating of 9W, 230V.
