Industrial desk lamp with enamel shade, Poland, 1950s
Classic desk lamp manufactured in Poland in the 1950s. The lamp has a solid cast-iron base painted black. Its flexible, chrome-plated arm, known as a gooseneck, allows the angle of the light beam to be adjusted. The broad shade is made of metal. It is enamelled navy blue on the outside, while the inside of the shade is white. The height of the lamp can be adjusted using the flexible arm. The lamp provides a strong, concentrated beam of light, creating ideal working conditions.
The lamp is in original vintage condition. It has minor scratches that do not affect its overall condition but are signs of age and use. The push-button light switch is located on the base. The lamp requires an E27 screw-base bulb. The power plug is not earthed.
