A two-seater sofa probably manufactured in Germany in the 1970s. It is inspired by the minimalist aesthetic of the Bauhaus school, with a modernist twist characteristic of the 1970s. It is upholstered in brown synthetic leather with visible patina, which emphasises its authentic character. The seat is broad and comfortable. Subtle quilting runs across the centre of the backrest. The frame consists of chrome-plated steel with an elegant, curved shape, lending lightness and an industrial character and creating an impression of suspension. The form of this sofa is the essence of modernist functionality – a clean, clear line without unnecessary ornament. Both the seat and backrest have a fluid, streamlined profile – gently rounded edges transition into a wavy shape that naturally adapts to the body.
