How it works

  2. 02 Send a request Give the dates and the project. Within 24 hours we send a quote with deposit and delivery.
  3. 03 Confirm You sign the agreement and pay the rent and deposit. We reserve the pieces for your dates.
  4. 04 Collect and return Collect yourself or use our delivery. We sign a handover report on pick-up and return.

    A request does not reserve the pieces. The reservation starts once the agreement is confirmed.

    Vintage furniture rental

    MIDMOD rents out original furniture and lighting from the 1950s–80s: Polish design from the communist era, Danish and Scandinavian furniture, Czechoslovak armchairs, Space Age lamps. These are the same pieces you will find in our shop – each with exact dimensions and a condition description, so you know what arrives on set or in the interior.

    We rent to businesses: film and advertising productions, photographers, stylists and set designers, home staging agencies and interior architects.

    Furniture for photo shoots and film sets

    A 1970s flat, a communist-era office, a mid-century interior – we put together furniture and props for productions, commercials, music videos, interior shoots and lookbooks. In your request, tell us about the conditions on set, such as outdoor shooting, water or fire, and we will choose the pieces and protection accordingly.

    Vintage furniture for home staging

    A flat prepared for sale or rent stands out in photos when it has character. You rent the furniture by the week, and if a piece stays with the new owners, part of the rent paid goes towards its price.

    Terms

    Who can rent furniture?

    Businesses and sole traders. We sign the agreement with a VAT number.

    How much does it cost?

    The rate for the first week and for each further week is shown with every piece. Prices are net, Polish VAT (23%) is added.

    What is the minimum rental period?

    One week. Shorter rentals are charged as one week. The minimum order value is PLN 300 net.

    Do you charge a deposit?

    Yes, 80% of the value of the rented pieces, at least PLN 500. We return it within 7 days after the furniture comes back.

    How do pick-up and return work?

    We sign a handover report with photos on pick-up and on return. Times are agreed individually.

    What if a piece gets damaged?

    The repair cost is deducted from the deposit. If a piece is destroyed or lost, the renter pays the value stated in the agreement.

    Can a piece be modified?

    No.

    Can I buy a rented piece?

    Yes. Half of the rent paid goes towards the price if you buy it within 14 days after the return.
