A pair of armchairs from the Type 1312 suite, manufactured by Słupskie Fabryki Mebli in the 1960s.
Armchairs designed for a lounge area, with wide, low-set seats.
The set has been restored, fitted with new, easy-to-clean upholstery fabric, while the wooden elements have received a new finish.
The choice of black upholstery fabric highlights the geometric quality of the design and harmonises with the original colour of the furniture legs.
Despite their striking construction and considerable scale, the pieces stand out for their precisely balanced proportions, making them an excellent addition to both lounge and formal settings.
These armchairs are an excellent example of Polish modernist design.
