Description

Pair of Kolding armchairs, designed by Erik Wørts for IKEA and manufactured by the Gościcińska Furniture Factory (GFM) in the 1960s.
The armchairs are made of solid oak; this model is characterised by substantial armrests and turned, cigar-shaped legs.
New cushions with piping along the edges have been upholstered in blue-grey bouclé fabric.
The armchairs have been fully restored.
Erik Wørts’s design fully reflects the Scandinavian mid-century modern aesthetic; GFM also produced this model in afromosia wood.
