Rosewood coffee table, HMB Möbler Rörvik, Sweden, 1960s

Coffee table made by the Swedish manufacturer HMB Möbler in Rörvik in the 1960s.
The large, rectangular tabletop is finished in Brazilian rosewood with a dark, distinctive colour and strong, dense grain.
Rich grain patterns create a highly interesting visual effect. The table’s simple legs are made of brushed aluminium with a metallic sheen.
They are joined by a rosewood stretcher. The table is characterised by clean lines and creates a harmonious composition of the materials used. Made with precision and attention to detail.
It will work well in a wide range of interiors, bringing the aesthetics of the Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern movement into the space.

The table is in original vintage condition. It has minor scratches, scuffs, natural patina and signs of use associated with age. We have a smaller table from the same series available in a separate listing.
