Minimalist coffee table designed by Henning Kjærnulf for the Danish manufacturer Vejle Møbelfabrik A/B in the 1960s. Made from high-quality teak in a warm, deep brown tone. It combines a minimalist form with timeless elegance. Clean lines and subtly rounded edges emphasise its timeless style, characteristic of the era of Danish modernism. A maker’s stamp is located beneath the tabletop.

Henning Kjærnulf was a Danish furniture designer and architect of the mid-20th century. Although he is not among the best-known icons of Danish modernism, his work is now highly valued by collectors and enthusiasts of the Mid-Century Modern style. Kjærnulf primarily designed for Danish manufacturers EG Kvalitetsmobel, Nyrup Møbelfabrik and Vejle Stole Møbelfabrik.

Vejle Stole Møbelfabrik was a manufacturer founded around 1907 in Vejle, Denmark, originally as a workshop producing chairs and furniture. From the outset, it was renowned for its hand-finishing of wood and for combining traditional joinery techniques with Scandinavian design. It collaborated, among others, with designers such as Arne Vodder, Johannes Andersen, Erik Buch, and Henning Kjærnulf, enhancing the prestige of its collections. In the 1980s, the company changed its name to Skovby Møbelfabrik, continuing to produce furniture in a Nordic style. The original Vejle Stole Møbelfabrik factory ceased operations in 2011.

The table is in its original vintage condition. It bears age-related signs of use. Minor traces of glue are visible on the leg. The table is fully functional.
