Brass hand-shaped candlesticks, 1980s

Description

Unique set of two vintage candlesticks made of brass, dating from the 1980s.

The main decorative element is a sculptural motif of a human hand clenched into a fist, which wraps around the central part of the structure in an original manner. Both pieces were made of brass in a warm golden shade, which has developed a natural patina over the years.

Each candlestick rests on a stable, conical base. At the top of the structure is a classically shaped, flared holder designed for a standard tall candle.
