Description

A collectible desk clock with alarm and calendar functions, manufactured in China in the 1970s by the respected Diamond Shanghai brand.

The clock features a modernist rectangular form and a distinctive high-gloss chrome frame. Two functional zones are clearly separated on the light-coloured dial. On the left is a traditional analogue clock with black numerals in a period-typical typeface, complemented by hands. The right side of the dial is occupied by a large mechanical date display, above which is the manufacturer’s geometric logo.

The clock’s mechanism is enclosed in a sturdy black plastic casing, while the entire structure rests on an integrated, stable base.
