Geometric PRL armchairs, Zamojskie Furniture Factories, Poland, 1970s

Pair of vintage geometric armchairs, type 300-213, manufactured by Zamojskie Furniture Factories in Poland in the 1970s. This model perfectly reflects the modernist style of the era, referencing the monumental and geometric architecture of the time.

The armchairs have undergone a full restoration. The upholstery is made of new, durable and subtly lustrous textured fabric with a refined pattern in shades of purple and orange. In keeping with the original design, the fabric covers the entire body of the furniture.
Made of solid wood and furniture board, the armchairs are exceptionally heavy and stable.
Their defining feature is their striking geometric silhouette, in which the removable cushions, made of thick and comfortable upholstery foam, fit perfectly within the armchair frame.

The armchairs retain their well-preserved manufacturer’s label.
