Description
Pair of 360 armchairs, designed by Janusz Różański in 1959 and manufactured at the Lower Silesian Furniture Factories in Świebodzin in the late 1960s.
The armchairs underwent restoration, during which the metal elements were re-chromed and the armrests were covered with walnut veneer, as in the original. The soft seat filling was replaced, while the original springs were retained, and the chairs were given new bouclé upholstery by Kvadrat. It is worth noting the variety of materials and the multitude of techniques used in their production. The 360 model is a testament to an era in which mass production was beginning to dominate, yet high-quality furniture also existed, distinguished by careful design and workmanship.
These armchairs are currently unavailable, but other examples can be purchased and restored, with the fabric selected according to your preferences.
