Pair of GFM-142 armchairs designed by Edmund Homa, manufactured at the Gościcińska Furniture Factory in the 1960s.
The GFM-142 is a club chair characterised by a low, deep seat and a deep backrest. As with the smaller GFM-64 model, also designed by Edmund Homa, the armchairs feature solid beech frames consisting of turned legs, rails beneath the seats, a straight rail supporting the backrest, and long, carefully shaped armrests. The seats and cushions are upholstered in soft black upholstery fabric.
