Scandinavian chest of drawers, Denmark, 1960s/70s
The chest of drawers is finished in teak veneer with solid wood elements and set on legs made of solid teak.
The front comprises four sliding doors and four spacious drawers.
Behind the right-hand doors is a bar section with a decorative mirror; the central section contains shelves, while the left-hand section contains drawers and a shelf. The shelves can be height-adjusted and removed.
The piece has undergone full restoration: the old finish was removed, the tone of the wood was gently evened out, veneer losses were repaired and the surface was finished with three coats of hardwax oil. The doors and drawers operate smoothly.
