Wool armchair, designed by Folke Ohlsson, Denmark, 1950s/60s

Wool armchair designed by Swedish designer Folke Ohlsson for the Danish manufacturer Fritz Hansen in the 1950s/60s. Made with beautifully preserved original springs. The upholstery in a fine, dark-blue weave has been left in its original condition, as it is in very good condition. It has minor signs of use, but given its age, it is as if it had none at all. A simple form with interesting details, set on beech legs stained walnut. The armchair is comfortable and looks beautiful. The upholstery has been professionally cleaned, and following complete restoration, the legs were stained with a walnut finish and newly protected with a hardwax oil resistant to dirt and water.
