Framed work
Osmund Hansen lived from 1908 to 1995. He was a Danish painter and graphic artist. He attended Folmer Bonné’s School of Painting. He made his debut in 1935 at the Autumn Artists’ Exhibition. His works are predominantly geometric, expressive collages. Squares dominate his compositions. Osmund Hansen exhibited in numerous venues both in Denmark and abroad. He received several awards. Together with his wife, he founded the Osmund Hansen Foundation to provide study scholarships for young and promising visual artists.
The work is in original vintage condition. The original lithograph was produced at UM Grafik (now Edition Copenhagen)
