Eskil Roland Harry Hansson was born on 15 October 1926 in Gothenburg and died on 21 September 2025 in Norrköping. He studied at Slöjdföreningens skola and Valands konstskola in Gothenburg, and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, followed by study trips to Denmark and France, among other places.
In 1978, he received a scholarship from Östgöta konstförening. His works are held in the collections of the Gothenburg Museum of Art, Malmö Museum, Norrköping Museum of Art and Östergötland Museum.
