Eskil Hansson was born in 1926 in Gothenburg. He was a Swedish painter. He studied at the School of Design and Crafts and the Valand School of Art in Gothenburg, as well as at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, and subsequently undertook study trips to Denmark and France. He received an Art Association Östgöta scholarship in 1978. His works can be seen at the Gothenburg Museum of Art, Malmö Museum, Norrköping Museum of Art, and the Östergötland Museum.

The work is in its original vintage condition. There are minor signs of wear on the reverse of the sheet.
