Balloon Chair, designed by Lusch Erzeugnis, Lusch & Co., Germany, 1960s

An original Balloon Chair from the German Lusch & Co. manufactory. The design is attributed to Lusch Erzeugnis. It was produced in the 1960s. The frame is made of metal, with upholstery in brown natural leather (suede). The angled seat allows for a deep and comfortable sitting position. Its form is lightweight, the upholstery is laced, the colour is understated, and the slender legs do not weigh down the geometric silhouette. This design is one of the most recognisable armchairs of the Mid-Century Modern era.

The armchair has been preserved in its original vintage condition. It has minor scratches on the metal components, natural patina, and signs of wear to the leather.
