Leather armchair with reclining backrest, Denmark, 1960s

This modernist armchair with a high backrest was made in Denmark in the 1960s.
The comfortable back and seat cushions are upholstered in high-quality natural leather in a light brown shade. The colour of the leather is reminiscent of coffee with milk.
The legs and broad armrests are made of teak. The armchair features a five-position manual reclining adjustment, from the upright position to an almost fully reclined position.
The high backrest contributes to the comfort of use. The armchair is very comfortable and has a harmonious form.

The armchair has been preserved in its original vintage condition. It has minor signs of age and natural patina. The seat height is 45 cm.
