Vintage wall clock, UPG Halle, Germany, 1960s/70s

Description

Original UPG Halle wall clock, an original former GDR piece dating from the 1960s and 1970s.
Highly decorative model with a ruby-red dial protected by convex acrylic glass. The clock is equipped with a cable and wall-mounting bracket. The gilded hour markers and slender hands contrast beautifully with the deep red of the dial.
This is a unique example of Mid-Century Modern and European design, serving both a functional and decorative purpose.
