An Italian vase, an amphora made of opalescent glass, painted with floral patterns in enamel. Made of opalescent white glass with a twisted, spiral texture known as reticello.
This technique—”Reticello,” one of the varieties of Venetian filigree, is known from the 1960s and 1970s, particularly in the context of Murano glass.
The main body is decorated with painted or enamelled floral motifs and leaves in brown, orange, green, and blue.
