Framed
Paul Holsby was born in 1921 in Norrtälje and died in 2007 in Höganäs. He was a Swedish painter and printmaker. He studied under André Lhote in Paris from 1948 to 1951. Together with the artists Harry Roskvist and Gillis Sahlin, he founded the art group Skånsk treklöver in 1946, which held exhibitions throughout the country. Holsby held several solo exhibitions in Paris, as well as in Germany, the USA and Canada. His work is represented in the National Museum, Kalmar Art Museum, Norrbotten Museum, Eskilstuna Art Museum, Institut Tessin and Circle Saint Exupéry in Tours.
The work is in original vintage condition. The frame shows minor signs of use.
