A pair of GFM-87 armchairs, designed by Juliusz Kędziorek and manufactured at the Gościcińska Furniture Factory in the 1960s.
This is an example of solid cabinetmaking construction, made possible by the factory’s advanced machinery. The frames are made of solid beech wood. The cigar-shaped legs and substantial, precisely crafted armrests are distinctive features of the GFM-87 model. The seats, edged with narrow piping, are upholstered in a fabric with a visible weave and pink thread.
