A pair of GFM-87 armchairs, designed by Juliusz Kędziorek and manufactured at the Gościcińska Furniture Factory in the 1960s.
This is an example of solid cabinetmaking construction, whose production was made possible by the factory’s advanced machinery. The frames of the armchairs were made of solid beech wood. The cigar-shaped legs and substantial, precisely crafted armrests are distinguishing features of the GFM-87 model. The seats, with narrow piping running along the edges, were upholstered in a white and beige-brown upholstery fabric.
