Vintage brass wall clock, UPG Halle, Germany, 1970s

Mid-Century Modern wall clock, manufactured in the 1970s by the German company UPG Halle. The design is characterised by a geometric form inspired by the sunburst motif.

The central dial in brushed brass is decorated with the black LOGO of the UPG Halle brand. Twelve black metal diamonds with brass rivets radiate around it, serving as hour markers. The dynamic black hands complete the design. The dial elements overlap in layers, creating a light, spatial and openwork form.

The reverse features an original German Junghans quartz movement, powered by an AA battery and fitted with a factory-made hanger.

The item is preserved in very good vintage condition.
