According to a study based on the anniversary publication of Gościcińska Fabryka Mebli from 1999, Juliusz Kędziorek graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk in 1955 – from the same year as Edmund Homa. From 1962, he worked at Gościcińska Fabryka Mebli and remained associated with the furniture industry until the 1980s.
His best-documented design is the GFM-57 chair, known as “Skoczek” (1965). From 1966, Zamojskie Fabryki Mebli produced it as type 200-203. Kędziorek is also credited with the GFM-107 chair (1967), the GFM-22 chair and the GFM-87 armchair, one of the most frequently encountered armchairs from Gościcin today. Like many pieces of furniture from the PRL era, his designs were rarely signed with the author's surname, and the design documentation has survived only in fragments.
