Pair of GFM-87 Armchairs Designed by Juliusz Kędziorek, Gościcińska Fabryka Mebli, Poland, 1960s
Description
Pair of GFM-87 armchairs, designed by Juliusz Kędziorek and manufactured by Gościcińska Fabryka Mebli in the 1960s, during the PRL era.
This is an example of solid joinery construction, made possible by the factory’s advanced machinery.
The armchair frames are made of solid beech wood. Cigar-shaped legs and substantial, precisely crafted armrests are distinctive features of the GFM-87 model.
The seats, trimmed with narrow piping running along the edges, are upholstered in white textured fabric.
A single armchair can be purchased on request.
