Kurt Østervig (1912–1986) was a Danish furniture designer. He trained as a boatbuilder and worked at a shipyard in Odense. He then designed furniture at the E. Knudsen studio until 1947, when he established his own design office. His work was shown at the Milan Triennale in 1953 and 1960, and his furniture was also presented at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Østervig’s best-known models include the Jagtstolen and Baljestolen (57A) armchairs. At MIDMOD, his furniture is available as single pieces from the secondary market.
