Description

Decorative bowl made of copper covered with multicoloured enamel, produced in Germany (the former GDR) by VEB Thüringer Schmuck Waltershausen.

The item stands out for its striking, handcrafted enamel decoration in shades of blue, white, red, green and yellow. The bowl has a characteristic octagonal shape and three small copper feet. The underside is covered with navy blue enamel.

The original paper label bearing the manufacturer’s name, VEB Thüringer Schmuck Waltershausen, remains on the underside, adding to its collector’s value and confirming the item’s provenance.
