Lage Löfdahl is a Swedish painter and printmaker born in 1938. Löfdahl’s first acrylic paintings were created in the 1950s. He also produced copperplate prints. He often works with symbolic images such as wrecks of old cars, rhinoceroses or ostriches, which are primarily executed as graphic prints and, to a lesser extent, in oil. His work has been exhibited in many Swedish museums, as well as in a museum in Krakow, Barcelona, Portugal, and at Jupiter Gallery in Napa, California, USA.
