Pair of GFM-87 armchairs, designed by Juliusz Kędziorek and manufactured at the Gościcińska Furniture Factory in the 1960s.
This is an example of a robust cabinetmaking construction, whose production was made possible by the factory’s advanced machinery. The armchair frames are made of solid beech wood. Cigar-shaped legs and substantial, precisely crafted armrests are distinctive features of the GFM-87 model. The seats, featuring narrow piping running along the edges, are upholstered in white textured fabric.
