Pair of wall lights, designed by Josef Hůrka, Napako, Czechoslovakia, 1960s

Description

The pair of wall lights (type 84104) from the 1960s was designed by Josef Hůrka for the Czechoslovak manufacturer Napako.
The cylindrical metal fitting is characterised by a restrained geometric form aligned with the aesthetics of post-war modernism and the Space Age movement.
The design is a representative example of Central European industrial design, combining functional minimalism with expressive visual form.

The wall lights are preserved in original, very good condition. Slight signs of use consistent with their age are visible.
