GFM-87 armchair designed by Juliusz Kędziorek, Gościcińska Furniture Factory, PRL, 1960s

The GFM-87 armchair, designed by Juliusz Kędziorek and manufactured by the Gościcińska Furniture Factory in the 1960s, is an excellent example of solid cabinetmaking construction made possible by the factory’s advanced technological facilities.
The frame is made of solid beech wood, while the characteristic cigar-shaped legs and substantial, precisely sculpted armrests give it a distinctly mid-century character.
The seat, finished with narrow piping running along the edges, is upholstered in green bouclé fabric.
