Description

Set of four cantilever chairs manufactured in Germany in the 1960s. These chairs are an excellent example of modernist design inspired by Bauhaus aesthetics, combining functionality, simplicity of form, and innovative use of materials. They feature a lightweight yet sturdy construction made of bent chrome-plated steel, typical of furniture designs from the 1920s and 1930s. Their form is based on the cantilever principle, i.e. a structure without rear legs, in which the flexibility of the frame provides seating comfort. This solution is not only functional but also full of visual lightness and dynamism. The seats and backrests are upholstered in the original fabric with a small-scale pattern in shades of brown and beige. Upholstery is soft, pleasant to the touch, and pairs well with both modern and classic interiors. The whole creates a unique harmony of form and function, fitting perfectly into the aesthetics of modernism. The chairs work equally well in residential settings, commercial interiors, and office spaces.
