Vintage ceramic table lamps, Fat Lava, Germany, 1970s
An original pair of glazed ceramic table lamps manufactured in West Germany in the 1970s.
Solid, low-profile bases with a decorative relief band and distinctive glazing in shades of brown, cream, and dark chocolate. The surface has a “fat lava” effect — an irregular, porous texture typical of West German design from the period.
The lamps retain their well-proportioned cylindrical shades with decorative trim.
