Vintage modular sofa, Bloc Interieur, Germany, 1970s
Description
Vintage modular sofa, Germany, 1970s
An exceptionally rare piece: two matching, low chauffeuse chairs from the 1970s, designed so that when pushed together they form a unified modular sofa.
This highly functional solution allows the piece to be used either as one continuous sofa or as two separate, low chairs.
Both modules are exceptionally comfortable, with angled backrests and semi-firm foam filling set on an upholstered wooden frame.
The piece has undergone a full restoration and has been reupholstered in Casamance fabric (Texas collection), which is highly durable and easy to wipe clean.
The striking, three-colour combination of pink, orange and red hues creates a bold graphic accent in a warm, energetic palette.
The sale includes the complete set (pair) — an eye-catching focal point for a living room, lounge area or reading nook that will add a touch of boldness to the interior.
