Glass art platter, designed by Josef Hospodka, Chribska, Czechoslovakia, 1960s

Description

The item is a decorative glass bowl designed by Josef Hospodka for the Czechoslovak glassworks Chribska in the 1960s.
The vessel is distinguished by its beautiful light blue shade and organic, fluid form, which references the Mid-Century Modern style.
The construction is characterised by thick art glass coloured throughout, with a rippled internal structure that creates striking reflections of light.
