Description
Vintage copper candlestick, Poland, 1970s
Striking three-arm candlestick in the Brutalist style, characterised by a pronounced contrast of textures and materials.
Three columns of varying heights have a raw, highly porous structure resembling solidified lava. They are combined with shiny, polished candle cups and decorative gold-toned rings with a delicate black ornament.
The columns are securely joined at the base by a brass three-arm connector. The arrangement of the arms and the cups with spikes is visible from above.
The item is in Very good condition; its elements have been refreshed and polished.
