Glass coffee table with a brass base, 1970s

Coffee table made in the 1970s. The base consists of four shiny brass legs with a raw, angular form. The octagonal tabletop is made of dark smoked glass, with a milled edge all around. The piece is designed in the Hollywood Regency style, characterised by the bold use of contrasts, often with metallic and glass accents. Thanks to its striking form, the table is ideal as a centrepiece, perfectly capturing the spirit of Hollywood’s Golden Age in the 1930s and embodying the principle that there is no such thing as too much glam! 

The table is in original vintage condition. It has minor chips to the tabletop and small scratches resulting from age.
