Description
Elegant newspaper rack in the Mid-Century Modern style, manufactured in West Germany in the 1970s. This model features a lightweight, geometric form with a chrome-plated steel frame, wooden handle and two spacious pockets made of durable vinyl (synthetic leather).
The minimalist design fits perfectly into modernist and vintage interiors. The rack is ideal not only for storing newspapers and magazines, but also books, photo albums and vinyl records.
Similar models were produced by German companies, including Voss; however, the manufacturer’s mark has not survived on this particular example.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Stable and sturdy construction. Chrome with natural patina and minor signs of wear consistent with its age. The vinyl pockets are in very good condition, with no cracks.
Material: chrome-plated steel, wood, vinyl (synthetic leather).
A timeless addition to Mid-Century Modern, Bauhaus, loft and modernist interiors. Thanks to its high-quality construction and classic form, this is a piece of furniture that is both practical and an attractive decorative element.
