Red Space Age lamp, by Sölken Leuchten, Germany, 1980s
A striking tripod table lamp in a minimalist and futuristic aesthetic characteristic of the turn of the 1970s and 1980s.
The main element of the lamp is a spherical shade made of frosted glass in an intense, saturated red. The shade is mounted on a tripod made of curved metal rods, which meet centrally to create a lightweight base.
