Description

Original Waldmann-Leuchten TL 218 desk lamp, manufactured in West Germany in the 1980s by the renowned Waldmann-Leuchten company from Schwenningen. This model is an excellent example of German industrial design — simple, functional and timeless.

The lamp features a distinctive, elongated shade made of ivory-coloured plastic and a chrome-plated arm mounted on a stable base. With two fluorescent tubes, 2 × 8 W, it provides even, comfortable illumination for the workspace.
It is an ideal choice for a study, architectural studio, office, library or interiors furnished in the Mid-Century Modern, Bauhaus or Industrial style.
The lamp is fully functional and retains its original manufacturer’s markings and nameplate.
Due to its age, the lamp shows minor signs of wear. The base has two slightly darker areas where stickers were once located — this is a natural change in the colour of the plastic caused by many years of ageing, which does not affect the lamp’s functionality or appearance.

The chrome-plated elements are in very good condition.
