Violetta display cabinet, Zielonogórskie Fabryki Mebli, Poland, 1960s

Description

Bookcase/display cabinet, restored, produced in the 1960s by Zielonogórskie Fabryki Mebli, Poland (PRL).
The piece was made from the upper section of a sideboard, to which beech, angled legs finished in black semi-matt lacquer were added.
The display cabinet is veneered in exceptionally colourful walnut veneer.
A very interesting and minimalist design.
The set includes a complete set of shelves and a large sliding glass pane.
The display cabinet takes on particularly vivid colours in sunlight.
The entire piece has undergone comprehensive restoration; the interior is also completely fresh, odour-free, stripped of lacquer, sanded and lacquered.

The piece is finished with a hard, semi-matt lacquer applied by spray.
The lacquer used is a highest-grade product from a German manufacturer.
The product has high resistance to yellowing and scratches, and is resistant to perspiration, saliva and alcohol. It also protects the wood and stain from light through its UV filter.

The lacquer finish requires no additional maintenance during use.
