Description

Small chest of drawers from the Violetta set, manufactured in the 1960s by Zielonogórskie Fabryki Mebli, Poland (PRL).
The chest of drawers is veneered in beautiful walnut.
The solid beech legs are lacquered in black semi-matt.
The handles have been replaced with much larger ones.
The entire piece, including the interior, has undergone full restoration; it is completely fresh and odour-free, with the lacquer removed again, then sanded and lacquered.

The chest of drawers is ideal as a classic sideboard or can be used as a cabinet under a washbasin (the lacquer is suitable for humid conditions).
The chest of drawers takes on exceptionally vivid colours in sunlight.

The piece is finished with professional polyurethane lacquer (semi-matt), applied by spraying.
The lacquer used is a top-grade product from a German manufacturer.

The finish is highly resistant to yellowing and scratches, and resistant to sweat, saliva and alcohol. It also protects the wood and stain from light through a UV filter.

A lacquer finish requires no additional maintenance during use (this is necessary with oiled furniture).
The piece can be used without taking any special precautions.
